We counted teddies
And eggs
We counted cases
And days
We needed hand gel
And flours
Needed stationery
And space
We zoomed
And slept strangely
Rescheduled
And repeated
We masked
Washed our hands
Washed our shopping
Wishy washing
We watched
Then couldn’t watch
We were tired
of nothing
We went round the block
wondering
if it would kill us
to go North for the weekend
